​Hello, I’m Chris, founder of Spectare Watch Company. Based near Bath, Somerset, I bring 15 years of experience across the fine jewellery and watch trade, combining bench-level craftsmanship with a passion for mechanical horology.

​My professional background spans both the technical and operational sides of the industry, working alongside luxury brands and within private workshops. Over the past fifteen years, I have cultivated a deep, hands-on mastery of precious metal processing, micro-component assembly, and the mechanical engineering that powers automatic movements.

​Today, Spectare Watch Company is built around three core disciplines: crafting unique, custom-built timepieces, carrying out precision watch repairs and servicing, and hosting hands-on watchmaking workshops.

​I founded our workshops to take horology off the factory floor and bring it directly to your bench. Understanding the mechanical heartbeat of a watch offers a rare, rewarding connection to micro-engineering.
